Throughout your life

Throughout your life, many friends will come and go;
Not surprising since there are many valid good reasons
Your family will always be there if you don't already know,
But friends can change just as often as each of our 4 seasons.

Moms are there to comfort you when you fall and cry;
Fathers work hard to provide for your every need and whim.
Mothers help with homework questions you just can't answer "why" ?
And many a dad will enjoy playing sports with you at your local gym.

And let's not forget our siblings, whom without life would be boring
If we didn't have built-in friends living under the very same roof
Especially when it's bad weather out with rain violently pouring;
And you know that your love for them is without doubt the truth.

Of course we could go on describing all of the rest
Members of our family like uncles, aunts, and cousins,
grandpas and grandmas (personally my family vote as "best")
And less noisy than our youngest member baby who often is fussin' !
