Where have my memories of family gone?

| Tuesday, December 6, 2011 |

Family poems are the reflection of the memory of lost loved ones and the best way to keep those memories alive is by keeping those memories alive.

How we can forget all the memories about my beloved father, thought the funeral poem of him has been read for over twenty years. The time has come and gone, the tear on our eye may have dried, the sorrow in our heart may have faded, but the memories will surely live on for as long as we can still walk the ground.

The little child lie inside the arms of the father has grown up and now continue to read the poem of fathers.

“Daddy, you mean the world to me”, “Daddy, walk a little slow” A tribute to our far far away daddy which now lies in the sands of time. Those people have experienced the life know that people’s instinct is the hunger to traveling, but when their life is done, then they all wish to return to their homeland, living the rest of their life with the family that they have left behind while on the journey to the open world. The hard life has made their memories about the lovely childhood lose. The further they go, the less they remember about the past with their family. But they’re not to be judged, because it’s the rule of life.

People cannot live on the past forever, and will never be able to live on the past forever. Just keep the memories in a small place of your mind, and revive it whenever the soul burden, because you’ll always be able to find a shelter from the storm when carrying the father’s advices. Good luck, my friend, for my memories for our father will burn for eternity

A SPECIAL BOND ~ by Jordan from Katy

poems about family 1

You made every wish come true,
I mean everything to you,
I'm thankful for each day you gave me.
In our small big house by the roaring sea.

Spoke for me when I was weak,
Would climb all the way to that mountain's peak,
I love you forever, you and me,
In our small big house by the roaring sea.

Gave me wings so that i may fly,
Flew over the seas and into the sky.
Our love is strong between you and me,
In our small big house by the roaring sea.

Daddy, you mean the world to me
and so much more,
Now it's my turn to show you how much I love you,
and to even out the score.

Walk A Little Slower Daddy ~ Author Unknown

poems about family 2

"Walk a little slower Daddy,"
said a child so small,
"I'm following in your footsteps
and I don't want to fall.
Sometimes your steps are very fast,
Sometimes they're hard to see;
So walk a little slower, Daddy,
For you are leading me.
Someday when I'm all grown up,
You're what I want to be;
Then I will have a little child
Who'll want to follow me.
And I would want to lead just right,
And know that I was true,
So walk a little slower, Daddy,
For I must follow you."

Little Things

poems about family 3

I remember the way
your eyes would light up
when you smiled
And the way you would laugh
it would make me laugh, too

I miss all those little things
about you

I remember how happiness
was just an ordinary feeling
It wasn’t something
that we wished for
It just happened everyday

I miss all those little things
that have somehow slipped away

But as time went on
and the years began to take their toll
we forgot the little things
that filled our hearts and our soul
and somehow it all disappeared

I miss all those little things
about us during our best years

Life can be hard and it can hurt
sometimes we do or say something
we never really meant
and before we can take it back
the pain has sunk in

I miss all those little things
about us;
the things that made us strong,
and made us promise this was forever
no matter what went wrong

If we can remember that love was ours
once upon at time
and let go of the tough years and heartache
and take a moment to rewind
I know whe can find the happiness
that used to fill our lives everyday.

I miss all those little things that we used to be.
